Wedding at Château des Anglades: Danni & Connor between vineyards and the Mediterranean

A British-Australian wedding at Château des Anglades
Danni, from the UK, and Connor, from Australia, chose France to celebrate their wedding: Château des Anglades in Hyères, a vineyard estate tucked between vines and the Mediterranean, on the French Riviera. A setting worthy of their story, two people who traveled from opposite sides of the world to meet here, in Provence.
The century-old palm alley, the Provençal bastide with its green shutters, and vines stretching as far as the eye can see create a setting that is both intimate and spectacular, far from the classic destination-wedding path.
A few days before the ceremony, we'd already done a couple session on the Salins beach in Hyères, feet in the water, to warm up before the big day.

The Provençal bastide, full of charm and authenticity
With its green shutters, weathered stone façade and Mediterranean gardens, the bastide at Château des Anglades embodies the quiet elegance of wine-growing Provence. Fairy lights, potted olive trees and a flower-lined entrance make for a photogenic setting even before the ceremony begins.

Getting ready in the morning light
Getting ready took place in the bastide's rooms, bathed in natural light. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, Danni enjoyed these last quiet moments before the ceremony, while Connor adjusted his bow tie with a smile.

A flower-filled ceremony facing the vines
The ceremony took place outdoors, between the flower-lined aisle and the estate's vineyards, under an arch decorated in pink and peach tones. A design by @lilyrosemariage, in perfect harmony with the golden June light.

Couple portraits among the vines
The vineyard estate of Château des Anglades offers an exceptional photographic playground. Between the rows of vines, along gravel paths lined with palm trees, or in front of the estate's wrought-iron gates, every image tells the story of this meeting between two cultures and a shared love of Provence.

The vineyard estate from above, at dusk
At blue hour, Château des Anglades reveals its full splendor: the illuminated bastide amid the vines, with the Mediterranean as a backdrop. A view that sums up the promise of this place.

A night of dancing under the stars
The evening carried on with music from @rivieradream.agency, in a joyful, close-knit atmosphere. Danni and Connor, surrounded by loved ones who traveled from the UK, Australia and across Europe, celebrated their union late into the night.

Château des Anglades: a vineyard estate between Hyères and the Mediterranean
Located in Hyères, on the French Riviera, Château des Anglades is one of the most distinctive vineyard estates in the region for a wedding celebration. A Provençal bastide, vines stretching as far as the eye can see, and immediate proximity to the sea make it a destination of choice for couples traveling from abroad, like Danni and Connor.
As a wedding photographer in Provence, I loved capturing this meeting of two cultures in a place so representative of the Provençal way of life. If you're planning a wedding on the French Riviera or elsewhere in Provence, get in touch to talk about it.
