A Fine Art reportage in a château
As a château wedding photographer, I work with couples who choose a heritage estate to celebrate their wedding. Châteaux across Provence and the South of France tend to share the same assets: centuries-old plane-tree avenues, stone courtyards, formal French gardens and open views over the hills.
I'm based in Provence and know these venues from the inside, how the light moves through the day, where access is tricky, which room to use as backup if it rains. That changes a lot when it comes to planning the day's schedule.

Among the estates I have had the privilege to photograph:
Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, with its majestic avenue and formal gardens. Château de Fonscolombe in Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, lined with centuries-old plane trees. Château de la Gaude near Aix-en-Provence, overlooking Montagne Sainte-Victoire. Château Martinay in Carpentras. And Château du Griffon in Haute-Provence.

A château sets its own rhythm: a courtyard for the ceremony, a terrace for the cocktail hour, salons for dinner. I work with these spaces rather than against them, relying on natural light and staying out of the way during the moments that matter.
