The richness of Château de la Gaude lies in the diversity of its settings within a single space. My strategy is to use all of them through the day, following the light. Getting ready in the park-facing rooms with morning light. The ceremony outdoors with Sainte-Victoire as backdrop. Cocktail hour along the park pathways. And at 5 to 6 pm, when Provençal light turns golden and raking, couple portraits on the terraces or beneath the ancient trees.

Getting ready in bright rooms bathed in soft morning light, where I capture the details, the dress, the jewellery and the rising emotion. Ceremony in the park or on the terrace, facing Sainte-Victoire, under the still-high early-afternoon light. Cocktail hour beneath the century-old trees, in the cool shade that is so precious during a Provençal summer. Dinner in the vaulted hall or outdoors under the lights. And, at sunset, the couple portraits when the golden light wraps the façade and the pathways.
