Approach
Wedding photography designed as an editorial
Editorial wedding photography borrows from fashion and magazine press to tell your story. Every image is composed with intention: light, framing, lines, textures, nothing is left to chance, yet everything remains natural.
My approach sits at the crossroads of documentary storytelling and artistic direction. I don't create artificial images, I create the conditions for every moment to be elevated. A gesture, a glance, a sweep of fabric: everything becomes material for a magazine-worthy image.
Based in Provence, I intimately know the venues, the golden hours, the corners where light paints unique images. This local knowledge, combined with an editorial eye, gives my work its distinctive signature.

Artistic direction
Guided, never forced
Artistic direction is what distinguishes an editorial reportage from a classic one. Before your wedding, I study the venue, the light at every hour, and the perspectives. On the day, I know exactly where to take you for portraits and when.
I guide you with simple cues, walk slowly, look at each other, adjust the veil, producing natural images with masterful composition. No rigid poses, no frozen smiles. Emotion remains central; artistic direction elevates it.
This approach appeals to couples who want images that are both spontaneous and sophisticated, worthy of Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings, or La Mariée aux Pieds Nus.
Understanding the difference
Editorial photography vs classic reportage
Classic reportage
Documentary reportage captures what happens without intervention. It's a steady gaze on events, emotions, interactions. The photographer is a discreet witness. Images are authentic, sometimes raw, always sincere.
Editorial approach
The editorial approach keeps this documentary foundation but adds a strong visual intention. Composition is deliberate, light is chosen, portraits are guided. The result: images that tell the same story, but with a magazine aesthetic.
My work fuses both. Candid moments are captured with the same aesthetic care as posed portraits. You don't have to choose between authenticity and elegance.
Venues
Venues that elevate an editorial reportage
Provence offers an exceptional natural setting for editorial photography. Stone-walled bastides, century-old plane tree alleys, olive groves bathed in golden light, endless lavender fields, every element becomes a compositional asset.
Among the venues I particularly love for their editorial potential: Château de Tourreau with its French gardens, Mas des 5 Fontaines for its intimate atmosphere, Bastide de Puget and its Provençal elegance, Château de Fonscolombe for its exceptional light.
I also photograph editorial weddings in Aix-en-Provence, the Luberon, the Alpilles, Avignon, and the French Riviera.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Fine Art and editorial photography?+
Fine Art emphasizes light and soft textures. Editorial adds artistic direction: magazine composition, naturally guided poses, subtle styling. My work fuses both for a unique result.
Do you direct poses during the wedding?+
Yes, gently and discreetly. I guide couple portraits, hand placement, gaze direction, movement, while maintaining a natural feel. During the ceremony, I remain a discreet observer.
How do you prepare for an editorial-style wedding?+
I study the venue, light at every hour, and your inspirations beforehand. On the day, everything is planned so your celebration remains fluid and natural, nothing is forced.
Which Provence venues suit editorial photography?+
Bastides, châteaux, Provençal farmhouses, olive groves, lavender fields. Château de Tourreau, Mas des 5 Fontaines, Bastide de Puget are among my favorites.
Do you photograph elopements and intimate weddings?+
Absolutely. The editorial approach is perfect for intimate celebrations: fewer guests means more time for portraits, details, and atmosphere.
How many images are delivered?+
Between 500 and 800 individually retouched images for a full day. Each photo receives the same editorial care. The gallery is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks.
