The seasons at Bastide de Puget

The golden stone of the bastide responds beautifully to the light of every season. In spring, the Mediterranean gardens turn green again and the roses bloom, ideal for outdoor portraits. In summer, the strong light is best worked at golden hour, around the lavender-edged pool and facing the hills. Autumn offers an amber, softer, raking light that sublimates the stone at the end of the day. Each period brings a different atmosphere, and the estate stays photogenic all year round.
