You Were There All Along: A Wedding Inspiration Shoot at Château du Griffon
Some love stories feel as if they have always existed. That is the idea behind this wedding inspiration shoot imagined at Château du Griffon, in the Luberon. Through the fictional couple of Juliette and Oliver, the team set out to tell the story of a love that is deliberate, delicate and timeless, more an obvious truth than a meeting.
The thread running through the editorial: drapery. Light fabrics, suspended like veils of poetry, floating in the Provençal wind and giving the shoot a soft, almost suspended-in-time atmosphere.

Château du Griffon, an Inspiring Venue in the Luberon
Perched in Céreste, at the gateway to the Luberon, Château du Griffon is a dry-stone estate surrounded by wild hills. It is a place of rare authenticity: the stone is real, the terraced gardens are alive, and the views over the Préalpes create a naturally cinematic backdrop.
This raw identity, far from standardised glamour, was the ideal setting for a refined inspiration shoot, where natural light and the texture of fabric take centre stage.

A Refined Aesthetic: Drapery, Light and Texture
For the day look, the bride wears a fluid jumpsuit and the groom a light suit, a modern, free-spirited choice that stays true to the spirit of the shoot. The aesthetic is minimalist: few colours, natural materials, and a soft light that sculpts faces and makes the fabric vibrate.
My Fine Art approach finds an ideal canvas here. No stiff posing, no artifice: natural gestures, genuine closeness, and the movement of the drapery in dialogue with the Luberon light.

The Ceremony: When the Wind Joins In
The Provençal wind invited itself during the ceremony setup, lifting the drapery and unsettling the carefully prepared décor. Rather than a mishap, that gust became the heart of the story: it made the moment more real, more vibrant, more alive.
This is the beauty of an outdoor wedding in Provence: nature takes part in the scene, and the most beautiful images often come from what was never planned.

Portraits in the Luberon
Between the stone terraces and the hills, the couple portraits capture the intimacy of Juliette and Oliver. The late-afternoon light, ochre and golden, wraps the château's stone and gives the images a rare presence.

The Dinner: A White Room and a Cascading Floral Arrangement
As night falls, the reception takes place in a white room, dressed with natural wood chairs and candlelight. Above the table, a dramatic floral arrangement cascades down like a botanical waterfall, in dialogue with the fine tableware and the candle flames.
For the evening, the bride changes into a perfectly tailored gown and the groom into a black tuxedo: the contrast with the day's drapery closes the story on a more solemn, always elegant note.
